“The Bible On Parade" Celebrates
The Christ of Christmas for the 34th Year
MELBOURNE, FL- Faith in 2023 goes on parade. Each year more than 45 churches and ministries unite to lift Jesus up. Costumed characters take spectators back to Bible times depicting the 66 books of the Bible with banners, floats, musical presentations and storytellers that proclaim the story about Jesus on the city streets.
A historical event that began in 1990 in Melbourne is now in its 34th celebratory year. Saturday, December 2nd at 2pm it starts and returns to the Melbourne Auditorium.
Every child gets a gift at the celebration that follows at the auditorium. Free Pizza, cookie and drinks, live music sharing the joys of Christmas.
The parade route will run through Hibiscus Blvd., Fee Ave. and Babcock St., ending back at the Melbourne Auditorium.
