Emphasis

Worship • Teaching • Prayer • Fellowship • Evangelism

All work together to give the total vision and ministry of the local church. Though we all have our own special contributions that we emphasize, all that we do each time we gather will have these as our objectives.

Worship

We the church are a people set free through Jesus Christ to know, love, and worship God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, therefore ministry to the Lord comes before ministry to people. We enter into the courts of the Lord in praise. "This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise" Isaiah 43:21. We are lead into Worship by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. John 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers."

Teaching

Foundational to all that is done in the church is the Word of God. For that purpose Eph. 4:11 “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, [12] for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; [13] until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ.” The Word of God is not only to be taught, but imparted through the anointing of the gift ministers communicating specific Truth under the direction of the Holy Spirit, who reveals and translates spiritual Truth to our understanding, so that we may apply what is revealed, to shape, build and equip believers. Through the transforming revelatory Word of God, each member becomes an expression of Christ, by the Grace of God. An aspect of the vision of JITK is to constantly nurture believers in the Truth that is present with us, the living and active Word of God, providing training and involvement for the believer to be equipped to do the work of the ministry, until we all grow into full maturity.

Prayer

Jesus gave us the authority to release His will on earth through the power of prayer. We. His body, are to take our stand and stop the works of the devil, and open the storehouse of God to meet the needs of our generation, through prayer. Matthew 16:19 "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." It is up to the church to pray God's will into the earth. Jesus is the key to answered prayer.

Fellowship

God desired fellowship with His creation so He shared Himself with us through His Son Jesus Christ. The local church is made up of a community of believers, who have received the fellowship of God and are willing to share His life through them with others. In Acts 2 believers shared their possessions with one another. They ate together, prayed together and worshipped God together. They had fellowship, a shared life that they lived in the Lord and with each other.

Evangelism

No matter what may be going on in people’s lives in any generation, Jesus is the key to their deliverance. "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. We are to proclaim good news, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and set the captive free. Luke 4:18. The purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to empower the church to be a witness for Christ. Acts 1:8

Worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship
and evangelism, all provide us with:

“Preparation For Presentation”, of the gospel to the lost and the Bride to be ready for the return of the Lord, our Groom.

Rev. 19:7-"Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." [8] And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

“The Bible On Parade” is one way that we call believers to unite in Christ, and to corporately do the work of evangelism. A righteous act of the saints who lift Jesus up for our world to see.

We invite you to come visit with us, as you seek the Lord’s will to set you in a local church. He will reveal to you the place that you are to give and receive ministry.

Growth comes from commitment to the Lord and to the local church, the place He sets you in.

There is room for you at the inn called, Jesus Is The Key.
